Generic Cialis

Cialis was the third in a series of erectile dysfunction drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the first two being Sildenafil Citrate better known as Viagra, and Vardenafil better known as Levitra.

The main ingredient in Cialis is Tadalafil. Although Cialis is also used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, it has several advantages over Viagra and Levitra. The biggest advantage Cialis has over Viagra, is that Cialis allows you to take the erectile dysfunction pill much before sexual activity. In fact, Cialis can be taken up to 12 hours before beginning sexual activity, unlike Viagra, which must be taken just one hour before the act.

Cialis can also be taken with rich foods and drinks, unlike Viagra which must be taken preferably on an empty stomach, and never with rich foods and alcohol.

Cialis has an efficacy duration that is much longer than Viagra. In fact, Cialis' effects can last for up to 24 hours. That's because Cialis remains in the body for a much longer time than Viagra, allowing it to continue its desirable effects for a much longer time. Because of all these reasons, Cialis has earned for itself the name "le weekend" drug.

Cialis also eliminates some of the side effects that are the bane of Viagra users. For instance, one of Viagra's telltale signs is the flushing of the face which can indicate to the other person that you have taken Viagra, creating a possibly embarrassing situation. With Cialis, there is no such flushing of the face.

Cialis remains in the bloodstream for a longer time than Viagra, and therefore, also allows users to have a pill every alternate day to maintain a steady supply of Tadalafil in their system. This allows a person to be ready for potential sexual activity at any time. However, this kind of behavior is not encouraged without the advice of a physician.

Cialis does have some side effects. These include headaches, heartburn and dizziness. Headaches seem to be the most frequently seen side effect. Cialis is not recommended for all. As with Viagra, it is not recommended for people who suffer from diabetes or hypertension. People who suffer from any form of cardiac disease must also avoid taking Cialis. In fact, experts would advise that even if you are a healthy male, you must take the advice of your physician before taking Cialis.

The biggest advantage Cialis has is its long lasting efficacy, which makes it ideal as a leisure pill. However, as with other ED medications, it's important to consult with your doctor before you begin taking these pills.
